About Dr. Ugwoke, BSc, MD, MMedSci, MRCOG

Hello! I am Dr. Ugwoke. I am a UK-trained Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, and I am very proud to be joining the team at the Drumheller Associated Physicians.

Since 2018, I have focused my clinical practice exclusively on women’s health. Working across busy, high-volume hospitals in the UK, I have helped thousands of women navigate everything from routine pregnancies to complex keyhole surgeries. After successfully completing my rigorous specialist training in early 2026, I am excited to bring these advanced skills directly to the families of Drumheller and the surrounding communities.

I know that visiting a gynaecologist can sometimes feel a bit stressful or overwhelming, because of that, my main goal is to make you feel comfortable, truly heard, and respected. We will always work together as a team to make the best decisions for your health.

– I specialize in advanced keyhole surgery. This means instead of making a large, traditional cut on your belly, I use tiny cuts and small cameras. For you, this means much less pain, a shorter hospital stay, and a faster return to your normal life.

✨ Coming Soon: Closer Look for Abnormal Pap Tests: To save you a long drive to a larger city, I am currently setting up a specialized clinic right here in Drumheller to look closer at abnormal Pap tests or HPV results. This service will be ready in the near future!
