About Dr. Jacques Britz

Dr. Jacques Britz trained in South Africa and qualified as a physician in 2018. He is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered care and building lasting relationships with patients and their families. In addition to family practice, his scope of practice includes Emergency Room cover, acute inpatient care as a hospitalist, and surgical assisting.

Since moving to Canada in 2023, he is grateful to have started putting down roots in Drumheller and appreciates the strong sense of community that small-town living offers.

Outside of medicine, he is a husband and dad to two young children who enjoys running, biking, and spending time outdoors with his family.
