August 31 is #OverdoseAwareness Day. #Overdose is a growing public health crisis in Canada due to
– the increasingly toxic drug supply
– increased feelings of isolation, stress and anxiety
– changes in the availability or accessibility of services for people who use drugs
On August 31st, let’s remember without stigma those who have died and acknowledge the grief of family and friends left behind.
