❓ Should I be worried that I’m not getting enough sleep?
❓ Is there anything I can do to manage the stress I have?

Faces of Dementia Awareness Campaign

The Faces of Dementia campaign led by the Hamilton Council on Aging highlights the stories and photos of people living with dementia and their individual messages that they are so much MORE than their diagnosis.

November is #NationalDiabetesMonth

#NationalDiabetesMonth strives to raise awareness and continue the conversation surrounding the #diabetes epidemic.

Here are some tips for diabetes self-management from PCN nurses:

πŸ₯¦ Eat a healthy diet. This includes limiting processed foods and choosing foods rich in fiber and nutrients

πŸƒπŸΎ Get regular exercise. Exercise helps to regulate blood sugar levels and can also help to reduce stress

🩸 Monitor your blood sugar levels regularly. This will help you identify patterns and make necessary adjustments to your diet and lifestyle

❌ Avoid tobacco use. Tobacco can damage your blood vessels and increase your risk for complications from diabetes
