☀️ Summer Health Series ☀️ – Dehydration
During our #SummerHealthSeries we’ll be providing health tips on all your summer health questions.
Our first summer health tip is on dehydration.
It’s important to stay hydrated during the summer months.
When the weather is hot and we’re spending more time outdoors, we’re at risk of becoming dehydrated more quickly.
Symptoms of dehydration include:
➡️ Fatigue
➡️ Headache
➡️ Thirst
➡️ Dizziness
➡️ Fainting
➡️ Confusion
A good rule of thumb is to drink eight ounces of water every 20 minutes or so when you’re working or exercising in the heat.
By taking this simple precaution, you can help ensure you stay healthy and safe all summer long.
