Drumheller Associated Physicians provides a wide range of services covered by the Alberta Healthcare Insurance Plan (AHCIP) as well as a variety of uninsured medical services.
Register for AHC
If you have recently moved to Alberta, you may not yet qualify for AHC. There is no fee, but you do need to apply. Contact Alberta Health Care between Monday to Friday 8:15am – 4:30pm for further information.
Booking an appointment
Our physicians see patients on an appointment basis. Most appointments are scheduled for 15 minutes. When you make your appointment, we will ask the nature of your visit in order to give you enough time with the doctor. Call us at 403-823-3345 to book your visit.
Lab Tests and X-Rays
Drumheller Health Centre has Lab & X-ray services available Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Big Country PCN provides professional staff as a part of our multidisciplinary team approach to enhance and deliver health care services.
Pregnancy
Drumheller Associated Physicians can provide excellent prenatal and obstetrical care through our family physicians and specialists in high risk pregnancies.
Prescription Refills
Certain prescriptions should only be refilled with your regular doctor (narcotics, sleeping pills, ADHD medication) because they are ‘controlled substances’. Make an appointment with your doctor to discuss your medications.
Privacy of Medical Files
We are committed to ensuring that your medical information is kept confidential. We will never release information to anyone other than yourself without your prior, written consent.
