About Me

Dr Maseka came to Drumheller in 2004 after having worked in Australia, South Africa, Swaziland and Zambia. He graduated from the University of Zambia in 1986 and did training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and later Family Medicine. He is a Family Physician with special interest in women's health. He has extensive experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, taking care of many pregnant women. He also does a variety of minor procedures including vasectomies and circumcisions. He is a keen medical educator involved in the teaching of medical students and residents and is currently an assistant Professor of Family Medicine with the University of Calgary. He is married with grown children and loves to spend time with his family. When he is not delivering babies or with family, he loves to take long runs and he is an avid long distance runner.
